With Bhagyashree's unique style, distinctive voice, and opulent legacy of Gazal singing she is a surfacing name in the musical sphere. Starting off at the tender age of three, she has successfully traversed classical, semi-classical, sugam, and natyageet, to finally settle on gazals with an intent to leave an indelible mark.
The bedrock of her Marathi-Urdu gazal singing was consolidated by her father Gazalnawaz Pandit Bhimrao Panchale himself. She was further groomed under the training of luminaries like Smt. Apurvatai Gokhale, Smt. Archanatai Kanhere & Smt. Shubha Joshi. She has a degree in Philosophy from Mumbai's Ruia college, her post graduation is in Music from SNDT college and a Visharad in music laid the foundation for her pursuit of Doctorate in Music from Mumbai University.
Widely regarded as the Gazalkanya, Bhaghyashree has been embellished with the Chaturanga fellowship. Pt. Bhimsen Joshi fellowship, Natashreshtha Nilu Phule YuvaKalabhushan award, as well as a B-High grade on Akashvani. Bagging the first prize in the renowned competitions such as sa-sa-sa-re ga-re, and Gaanvardhan at thirteen was proof enough of her precocity and acumen in music.
Bhagyashree is a personality enriched with the beatitude of maestros such as Gazalsamrat Suresh Bhat, prominent welfare worker Baba Amte, veteran actor Nilu Phule and a melodious voice tutored to finesse by the doctrines of classical music is indeed the recipe for a heart warming performance.
